Comprehensive Health Testing Guide
A longevity-focused guide to health testing by sex, age, and health status
Why This Exists
Most people don't know what blood tests to get beyond whatever their doctor orders once a year. The standard annual physical misses the markers that actually predict disease decades early: ApoB, fasting insulin, Lp(a), homocysteine.
I wanted a single reference that covers what to test, when to test it, what the optimal ranges are (not just "normal"), and which providers to use. Something I could share with friends and family who ask "what tests should I get?"
Used Claude Opus 4.5 and GPT 5.2x-high to synthesize research from longevity medicine, then organized it by sex, age, and actionability. The 80/20 at the top covers what everyone should do; the rest goes deeper.
Not medical advice. These are longevity-focused targets which may be more aggressive than standard clinical guidelines.
